This author does a brilliant job of helping us work with urges through recognizing, refraining and resolving to act for ourselves and others with compassion.  She teaches us how to cultivate acceptance of our irritability, insecurities and other simply human traits.

This book is just as it sounds - a guide for women to explore their relationship with self and not only unhook from that harsh inner critic, but learn to love and care for themselves as they would do for another.
